Your information will be used for the following purposes:
To contribute to the development and dissemination of research agendas and frameworks for Scotland’s islands.

Our legal reason for using the data is: 
Use is necessary to gather expert information, option and data. Our process of data collection, use and storage references and is rendered legal under the Data Protection Act 2018

If you were to withhold the personal information we require for this process, the consequences would be: 
Your archaeological research, and information pertaining to archaeological research, may not be included in the SIRFA agendas or framework documents.

Your data will, or may, be shared with the following recipients or categories of recipient: 
Your data will not be shared with any other party – other than project partners (CnES, Orkney Islands Council, Shetland Amenity Trust and the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland) and our project funders Historic Environment Scotland . If you refer our handling of your SAR to the Information Commissioner’s Office we may have to share your information with them to assist them in their investigation.

Your data will be retained for the following length of time: 
Information and related personal data will be retained for the duration of the SIRFA project.
